I saw this when I was flying from Houston to Austin, but I have no idea what it is. It's the letters "LUECKE," and it's written in trees. Why? Anybody know?

This is near Buscher State Park. The dimensions are about 2 1/2 miles from L to E. The letters are about 300 feet thick which is why it is so visible. A relative said he the owner did it just to do it. Google the name and Smithville and you will get all the info you ever wanted to know.
